Close your windows! Funny how they didn't even allow OC residents to vote for this. Instead, they decided to sneak this in on us.

Several cities will be sprayed with cancer causing pesticides for 6 hours straight. 10pm to 4am. Wed and Thursday. 20 years from now, people in the targeted areas will have cancer.

Interesting how the nicer areas like Cypress, Los Alamitos aren't "affected" and won't get sprayed with Cancer causing chemicals.

Los Angeles has all the pollution and smog so there is a natural insect repellent in the city if you will...

It's a secret Government project to target illegals. Just ask Donald Trump.

I bet we'll see more dead bees in the next coming days than the mosquitoes they're "targeting". I haven't seen any mosquitoes flying around. It's not even mosquitoes season.

They're supposedly targeting mosquitoes that fly at night around 10pm to 4am. 6 hours of chemicals spraying all over the targeted cities.

There seems to be a vaccine for west nile. Wouldn't that be much better? For the people who are that paranoid, just force them to get the vaccines. Instead of sparing a bunch of toxic waste into the city. Affecting the ground, ground water, pools, plants, trees, bees, etc. etc.

Can't imagine this crap is safe to breathe in after the 6 hours spray for 2 days straight.

If you want to begin going down the rabbit hole, I suggest looking at the fact that OC Vector Control Trustee / City Councilman Allan Bernstein's wife is going around sharing that, "Duet is safe and effective" as I outline here: Orange County Vector Control District censoring Facebook comments showing truth about their pesticide spraying on page 2.

It's amazing how, when you follow the leads of people who post on the internet in favor of this type of spraying, how often you find immense bias and/or conflict of interest. And as you see by my thread, these government agencies often censor the peer reviewed scientific data showing that what they're telling us isn't the whole story. If censoring of data and shilling by government agencies and people closely connected to them doesn't concern you a great deal, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Some facts:

1. It's not just the carcinogenic aspect you should be concerned about. These chemicals are neurotoxins and the family of pesticide they belong to (synthetic pyrethroids) have been connected with developmental neurotoxicity issues in children. They also cause issues in bee reproduction:

- Common Pesticide May Increase Risk of ADHD | Media Relations
- Pyrethroid insecticide exposure and cognitive developmental disabilities in children: The PELAGIE mother-child cohort. - PubMed - NCBI
- Beyond Pesticides Daily News Blog » Blog Archive Pyrethroids Found to Impair Bee Reproduction - Beyond Pesticides Daily News Blog

2. The half-life of the chemical they are spraying is 12 days in soil. That means, after 12 days, only half of what they spray will have broken down. It will take another 12 days for another half of it to break down meaning after 24 days, 1/4 of this chemical will still be active. In areas not exposed to sunlight, soil, or moisture (like your home) it is possible for pyrethroids to persist for months.

3. Infants are not able to efficiently break down pyrethroids. For the love of god, make sure they are kept away from this stuff.

4. The chemical they are spraying also contains a synergist called, "Piperonyl Butoxide" (PBO). Not only does PBO increase the potency of the pyrethroids, but it has also been shown to inhibit the liver enzymes that are so important in breaking down pyrethroids if you are exposed. To add insult to injury, PBO can also make you more susceptible to other toxins in the environment as those same enzymes break down other toxins as well.

I shared information like this on OC Vector Control's Facebook page and they felt the need to delete it and ban me from posting as I outline here: Orange County Vector Control District censoring Facebook comments showing truth about their pesticide spraying -- they do not want an educated populace. Luckily, we have the Councilman's wife to educate us about about how this chemical is, "Safe and effective" in my stead.
