Two thumbs up on San Clemente. No kids here, but moving from LA/Pasadena area to San Clemente in May/June once our house is finished (Sea Summit - San Clemente). Great neighborhood, a few minutes walk to the beach and walkable to downtown San Clemente.

I think San Clemente has a more small town feel than Dana Point, which is more highway-ish feeling.

Marblehead is going to be an amazing place to live once construction is over. However, I don't agree that Dana Point is highwayish, whatever that means.
