Haven't heard anything new on this project, but i do believe they said they were going to tunnel across the Santa Ana mountains.

The point of the project is relief congestion on the 91 freeway, almost like how the 210 helped the 10 and the 60.

As Gandalf said in Tolkien's masterpiece, The Lord of The Rings, "You shall not pass."

I don't see drilling through those mountains just for a road when we can not even do so a bit further north for the much touted high-speed train. In addition, I doubt many in OC would want it built.

I hope they never build it. Not only would South OC roads become impossible, but the beaches and parks would also become nightmarishly crowded.

Call me greedy, but we have about 23 parks in Aliso, and I love that they are underutilized. I'm often the only person there when I visit them, and that's great.

I guess I'm greedy too then!

We need fewer cars, not more roads.
