The parolee walked into the Chase Bank branch at 3600 South Bristol Street and passed a note to the teller, said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department. Officers were called to the bank at 11:22 a.m.

Officials said the teller gave the man money and he started to leave. Witnesses said the suspect got to the exit with the money but turned around and gave it back to someone inside the bank and fled.

Nearby, an OCTA bus was at a bus stop on Bristol Street south of MacArthur Boulevard and the man got on it and it headed south.

As for crime, I am convinced that our hapless bleeding heart governor hopes to rehabilitate every criminal (and has indeed released many criminals) and turn him into an upstanding individual. Couple that with Prop 47 and you ensure we all get much more crime.

Here is an article about OC's crime.
Crime's up in Orange County; what's to blame? - The Orange County Register
When there are more males in their mid-teens to early 20s, there is more crime.

OC often denies that its own residents can commit crimes or boorish behaviors. Note how so many claimed the Huntington Beach rioters were from LA and the IE, when the overwhelming majority were from OC.

Want to know what will happen to OC in 30 years? Look no further than history of LA. Must be kidding yourself if you think OC will stay a nice area forever

So he thinks that Laguna Beach is going to turn in Compton?

The post honestly makes no sense whatsoever and is just a bunch of fear mongering plus trying to take a stab at LA (County/City/who knows?).

There's very little crime out here in Coto de Caza and we have a lot of Latinos now (8-10%).
