Hi,

I am looking to buy a 3 bedroom home in either Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Anaheim Hills, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, possibly Huntington or Newport Beach. My budget is under 1.5 mill. I haven't read a lot about Seal Beach area, so any advice about there would be great. I am also looking for something that has good resale value.

Thanks!

Seal Beach is nice and very laid back for a beach city. All of the cities you're considering are great places to live, but they're pretty different from one another. Your budget will go further Inland as compared to the coastal cities. If you want a larger home with a larger lot you should probably look outside of seal beach and Newport.

Those are all nice areas to buy in. Some homes in Huntington Beach have foundation problems--sinking land due to landfills and such. Fake Seal Beach, the part of the city that's more inland by the 22 freeway, is quiet, safe and beautiful. Nice cool breeze blows through there and good school system.

Los Al homes can be older? but nice quiet neighborhoods and good schools. Rossmoor--gorgeous and you may find a house with a bomb shelter!
