I read this early this morning when checking my email. I had to double check to make sure it wasn’t a fake story. Once I realized it was true I couldn’t wait for my wife to wake up to share it. I’m laughing all over again right now.

Quote from the 30 year old...

If you need more comic relief there’s much better articles than the CNBC one, they go pretty easy on him. His parents gave him money to move out, but he spent it on other things. He claiming they are harassing him by not feeding him and doing his laundry. The list goes on and on. Apparently he’s in a lawsuit with bestbuy over getting fired for refusing to work Saturdays

This is one one I read then proceeded to look up more to make sure it was true.

Real estate rarely matches up with what potential buyers "think" it's worth. Human beings have varying beliefs and education backgrounds.

Markets are agnostic. They simply reflect the truth of what something is "really" worth. In general, it's far better to trust markets, not the opinion of people.

You keep posting things that are ... true and frustrate those who do not want it to be true for them. Real Estate pricing is based on what people are willing and able to pay.

He also claims they are not good parents and that he himself is an amazing dad (although he lost custody of his kid).

A 4 bedroom house in Mountain View should only be worth $250,000. Why? Because it would enable me to buy one.

He’s actually kinda right. His parents failed by enabling this behavior for so long, atleast they realized this at age 30. I know a couple of 40+ year olds that still live at home, I’m sure some of the trolls on this site fit that bill.
