How is this an acceptable "solution" to this problem? The ACLU is insane and full of complete idiots.
Same thing going on in Seattle....the ACLU is practically dictating to city govt. Disaster.

The ACLU is by far and large one of the most wildly corrupt organizations on the face of the planet. It's basically a propaganda arm of the Democrat party with its board being populated by communists/socialists/leftist.

They have a $70 million -$80 million operating budget which they use to harass non-left leaning groups by miring them in perpetual lawsuits.

The Santa Ana River homeless camp is literally forcing Anaheim residents to deal with drug crime, petty theft, and squalor on their doorstep simply to satisfy and help the ACLU agenda.

To move them the water district has moved a literal mountain of dirt on top of where they once camped. The soil is a quarter mile long 15' feet high. Some homeless moved elsewhere some or most moved in front of the Big A. It kind of backfired on the water district because now they can almost tailgate before the Game. It's disgusting the cities involved have ignored this issue for years while waffling on political correctness with the illegal alien issues.

Just wait, there will be more taxes to "fix" the problem and ... it will get spent elsewhere while claiming it is for the problem, and the problem will just keep getting worse.

There was a guy on YouTube who basically walked through the encampment last week, it was eye opening. He was talking to the people living there, and I'd say about half were down and out druggies. People who had become unemployed, hooked onto drugs, or had run away from home out of state. The most shocking part was the other half didn't speak a lick of english. He would try to talk to them, and they would mutter some Spanish, and looked confused, or just smile.

As mentioned before, I work at an office very close to these encampments. The massive dirt/sand piles that were moved in have improved the area around 57/Chapman by quite a bit, but you'll still see the methheads on bikes riding down side streets casing vehicles or scoping out the area. Every person I've spoke that either lives or works in this area is angry and wants these shady drug addicts out of there. On Saturdays, you'll see the local churches and volunteer groups coming in to feed them and give away free stuff. I bet 99.5% of these volunteers do NOT live in the area and couldn't care less about the tenfold increase in property crime in this 1.5 mile radius.

they just opened a 24 hour homeless shelter in Anaheim with 200 beds. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the river trail. My prediction is not much will change.

My step brother was attacked and beaten by a homeless guy yesterday. He works at a 99cent store in HB. There was a woman in there yelling and creating a ruckus. They have no security so he was picked to kick her out. He got her out but unfortunately her homeless bf was there and attacked him. He's badly beaten and on workmans comp now. The cops took a report but that's it. It's sad and scary what's happening to Ca
