CaliRes, there are "only" 12 billionaires in Orange County. ("Only" because most US counties have none). Now I'm dying to know which one you are.

if they want their opinions heard, they usually submit editorials in the WaPo Or NYT or hire lobbyist to get what they want. not posting here
So rich people only submit opinions with their names attached to NYT or WaPO? What if conservative rich people have an opinion, do they still go to the WaPO or NYT?

I'm beginning to think those posters here who shout out their businesses and how much they earn or how much their networth have nothing really to show off.

if you are rich, you don't have to tell people. they will know. unless you are just like the man sitting at the White House.

Not necessarily. If you weren't famous, but has a ton of money but act like Warren Buffet. Would you know? For all I know his lifestyle is what I would think a normal middle class person would have. Not the biggest or fanciest house, not the nicest car, etc..

he became famous because he is very wealthy. didn't have to advertise that he is one of the wealthiest americans. publicity comes to him because of his wealth, like being invited to fund raisers, directorship etc

You have no idea what anyone’s worth is. Most have never actually put a number down of net worth. Either way I am here to read others peoples responses and learn from others experiences

Many people who are truly rich, try to stay out of sight to avoid the problems wealth brings, like criminal elements. I have known many rich people that you would never know they were rich, they lived normal lives in slightly upscale homes and drove a new car every 3 or 4 years, so they did not stand out. People who want fame must live with the consequences. Smart, non egotistical people avoid fame.

I'm probably in the Top .1% of wealth in the country, and I think there's a LOT of misconceptions about "how rich people conduct" themselves.
