Default Skyward31

I am sorry if you thought that the word narrow minded was name calling or anything else that I have said in my replies to your posts. I apologize if I have offended you. Honestly, I am not a vindictive person. I think you and I need to simply agree to disagree and let it go at that What do you think?

Anyway, to answer your question
1) I've lived in OC before and visit all the time
2) Most importantly, the title of your thread indicates you are spreading the truth about all of California. You are giving the impression that your observations/opinions pertain to all of California. The reality is they only pertain to one county and primarily average to below average portions of that county. Not the state as a whole. As a long-time resident of California, I take offense to that.

So that is not my fault. And I mentioned OC as being the place that I was talking about. So once again I didn't and AM NOT saying that ALL of California is BAD. Please just re-read my thread. I have stated positive points and negative points.. And I did it because when I started the thread I noticed a lot of one-sided garbage going on. I have explained this over and over again yet you continue to get an idea that I am trying to destroy your habitat.. I don't do things like that. I realize that people are happy there, I realize that my experience is my own unlike no one elses experience. What I have tryed to do is balance out a very unbalanced post with facts about the area that were only part of the picture.

1) Over-crowding
2) bumper to bumper freeways
3) very expensive to live
4) racial tension
5) smog
6) earthquakes
7) cockroaches and weird bugs (typical of any mediteranian climate)
8) loose morality (in certain places)
9) cold beach water
10) grey sand
11) no pro football team (in OC or LA)

Should I continue? Now tell me that these things are not the
truth.. That is why I named my thread the way I named it.

Why can't you just let this go.
The more you respond to the thread the longer it will stay on the top of the forum. I just keep responding to the people who are making comments and asking questions And maybe you should ask the moderator why she/he changed the title if you aren't happy with it because I cannot change it... Sorry...
I could start a thread titled "The Truth About Washington state" and list each and every one of those things you list above. Why? Because all exist in Washington as well....in certain areas. Each item is true in certain parts of Washington state.

Skyway do you know what you are saying??? You have NEVER lived in Washington State so your thread would be based on theory rather than experience. I have actually posted similar threads in other cities that I have lived on this forum. Nobody on those threads have said anything negative or contrary to my posts. It is only you that just keeps going on and on with your problem regarding my posts of OC. I just don't get what is bugging you??? Maybe you are mad because it really isn't as great as you would like to think it is? And maybe the reason why you have decided that the area is so great is because you can't stand it there unless you choose not to focus on the negative, which is fine if you want to do that. But please be fair to those who have never been there and give them ALL the facts instead of the pretty ones.

I honestly wish you would just leave it alone because what I said is going to remain. Nothing I said about OC is bad it is just the way it is. Take it or leave it...

Washington State or any State for that matter is not perfect but let me tell you there are LOTS of places that I would rather live then Southern Cal. So live with it and get on with your life.

1) Visit Seattle, and you'll find plenty of crowded places
2) Visit Seattle, and you'll see bumper-bumper traffic on the freeways
3) There are many very expensive places in WA
4) There's plenty of racial tension in Washington State, at least where the population is the least bit diverse
5) Seattle has a smog problem as well
6) WA is not free of earthquake threats by any means (not to mention Vocanoes)
7) There are all kinds of bugs in WA
8) Loose morality exists in every place in the country, WA included
9) Would you call the beach water in WA warm?
10) Are there white-sand beaches in WA?
11) Even if you counted the Seahwaks as a pro team, Spokane, Tacoma and several other cities in WA all do not have pro teams. If OC can't claim the Chargers as their team, Tacoma can't claim the SEahawks as their team. LOL.

You're posts are getting very annoying and difficult to ignore. Some D-Bag on this site once complained that people should stay on topic and only respond with facts...not opinions. You should read some of his posts.

I agree slang75. He is getting annoying. He is also ridiculous and doesn't know what he is talking about. I don't live in Seattle anyway and so I don't know why he is constantly trying to de-rail the threads with stupid comparisons that don't amount to anything. There is a Seattle section if he wants to go there. He can be my guest. Something is seriously wrong but he probably won't listen to you either. I wonder why he lives in Hermosa Beach???
