Hello c/d community,

I currently live in Brea, where I've rented a place for a year and now I'm considering the possibility of buying a place and putting my roots down in north OC. I narrowed it down to two cities: Brea and Fullerton. I'm familiar with Brea (and love it there) but wanted to expand my search to Fullerton as well.

In Fullerton, I've been told to look into places north of Malvern/Chapman. However, the k-12 schools north of Malvern seem to be a hit or a miss. There are top ranked schools such as Troy/Sunny Hills, but there are also schools that rank fairly low (Nicholas Jr. High, Fern Drive) per GreatSchools.

Any additional insight on Fullerton's K-12 schools is much appreciated.
