Default South Orange County Quiet Apartments?

so, am looking on apartmentratings.com at south orange county apartment rental ratings, and have found that alot of the same complaints from tenants i.e. noise, kids, parties, dirty, etc..

As I am in NYC and moving to orange county in a couple months, I cannot go see them myself, so was wondering if there is any apartments for working professional type people?

I see there are 55 and over communities, that would be so perfect, but i am still in my 20s. I myself am quiet and respectful of my neighbors, and want the same, and it sounds like the 55 and over communities would fit the bill. lol.

Thanks!

ITs pretty much a crap shoot. All apartments have there bad units and quiet units. I purposely lived closer to the leasing office because nosier "party" tenants are going to be less likely to live there since they want to have parties and play there music so the guy 3 miles away can hear it. Good luck with your search.

You may want to consider renting a private condo vs. an apartment complex but as Jdaly noted, it is ya never know. I would suggest maybe not renting close to a school, sports park, etc. if you don't want lot's of kids around.

Best of luck!

Hi,

I'm a former NYer who has lived for a long time in Orange County. I return to the City every year multiple times and will probably move back and become bicoastal when I retire. At any rate, there are a number of apartment complexes that are sketchy in terms of the type of tennants that reside there and you would probably be better to rent a condo since a number of the residents will be owners who will better care for their property, etc. You can also contact a realtor who will have a number of rental listings available and who can give you direct information. Try one of the RE firms and see if you can hookup with an agent who knows the area that you are interested in. I certainly want to wish you the best of luck in your search and relocation.

Phil

I used to live very happily in Villas Antonio Apartments, and they have a great pool/gym.
Good luck!
