I have been searching on craig's list and other sites for summer housing for my daughter who will be working in Costa Mesa from June 15-Sept 15. I have had no luck finding housing for her. Is Seal Beach too far for a commute? What will be a reasonable distance for commuting daily and what would be the best (safest) areas to live. I thought perhaps UC Irvine summer sublets but it seems you must be a UC student to live there. Any ideas? Of course, she would like to be as close to the beach as possible!!! Also, I have been searching up to $2000/month.

Check out Tustin, Huntington Beach, or Fountain Valley as well. They are all expensive but they will be close to Costa Mesa if you haven't found anything there that you like.
