I have very fond memories of Cypress, I spent 8 months there back in 2008 when visiting my brother. The city was very clean, safe, mostly White-Korean. Has it changed a lot, is it still a nice area?

I'm curious as well. I'm looking to buy a house for my in-laws and noticed that the density has not increased the way other cities have exploded and the public schools are all rated quite high.

I go there sometimes for work. I'll drive down Katella in Anaheim and Stanton and it can get a little run down looking, but once I cross into Cypress it looks really nice and clean. Cypress is still a really nice area and the prices aren't as bad as some other parts on Orange County. The other nice area to check is West Garden Grove (92845 zip code). It is just South of Cypress as is also very nice with really good schools.
