Oh…I don’t really agree with that real world part, especially in OC.

You are super new to the forum…just days. Do you know the O.P.? It was not clear to me they were being a mix of anything & I’m not even that new to C.D. or SoCal, but thank you for explaining the O.P.’s post. The OC forum doesn’t get a lot of traffic. I’ve had too much morning sickness the last days to enjoy anything lately…..it feels more like sick leave than vacation.

Welcome, tho!

Thanks for the welcome!
Good read.

Unlikely to actually get "new" forum members at this point. But hey, the more the merrier.

For those that want/have to leave, that's ok too. To each their own.

Heh, get a job? :-) Else, I imagine every day would feel like a vacation anywhere.

He said that and then like 3 weeks of grey skies followed.

Irvine was like groundhogs day when I lived there. So damn boring. Completely lacks an identity. Other than being close to other things. And good Asian food. Nothing wrong with Irvine but nothing remarkable minus the great schools.
