Default Looking for a club/activity to join

I'm looking for a club or any activity group to join in OC. I'm not a religious person, so don't suggest me to join a church.

Is there anything good out there? I'm looking for an activity group that goes.. camping and do community service.

there are plenty of youth organizations that need adult supervisors for those types of activities. boyscouts, girlscouts, boys and girls club, campfire girls, etc.

something different that you may be interested in is Civil Air Patrol. I was a member as a teenager. There are cadets(teens) and seniors(adults). I was a member of Squadron 153 in Los Alamitos which is both cadets and seniors. Some are senior only(generally those squadrons are mostly pilots in my experience). On top of weekly meetings where you do everyday activities there are always community service oriented activities. Either way, it's a fun way to spend time if you have the time to spend.

Do you like ham radio? It is a lot of fun.

You can go to a hamfest or hamvention and get all sorts of neat equipment and meet cool people too.
