I just wanted to bump this and point out how little this made sense. It made me happy to realize the world is terrible even outside of our little pretentious bubble.

I lived there for over 40 years. They wouldn't let me and my tastefully dressed friends have a drag show. It's a horrible place. Stay away. Tell everyone you know.

Actually, CSU Fullerton's LGBA holds a drag show every year as a fundraiser for their club. Never had a problem holding it on campus and everyone's welcome to come. To participate, you'd need to contact the club, though. It generally occurs around April 20th each year. I think the LGBA might have renamed themselves to the GSA, though, I'm not completeley sure.
I believe the hamburger mary's in long beach (I know it's not OC) has some sort of weekly drag... and there may even be somewhere in OC, dunno. There is a gay nightclub in OC now, but I know the details about it--haven't gotten the chance to go there... I only know about the Sunday gay guys clubbing night at Tia Juana's in Irvine. Funn stuff! ^_^
