Thanks everyone! His cell is not working right now. I'm sure some of the main towers might have been effected. Glad to know you all are okay and no one is hurt.

This is why tornadoes are better...there is usually a warning and they only take what is above the ground (lol). Anyone wanting to move to tornado alley now????

I was once operating a ride when that happened. The rides all have earthquake detectors in them so once there is an earthquake above a certain magnitude the ride automatically shuts down. Even a small earthquake that you can't even feel may send the ride down. Everyone gets pissed off at you because all the other rides go down lol.

Yesterday was my first earthquake since I moved here in 05' and it scared the crap out of me, but wasn't very bad here in Tustin. One thing fell of a shelf.

You will get used to the earthquakes as time goes on. I don't feel them much now unless they are really big.

Nope, natural disasters are everywhere and there's no sense in comparing which ones are worse. I'll stick with earthquake country.

The earthquake Anaheim Hills it was not to bad. I was just sleeping and it woke me up. I know it was a little hard than a few weeks ago because my blinds were shaking a little.

I don't know about the SGV area or the OC area but there was a 6.9 one in baja Ca today or according to yahoo.
