Orange County California,
I was stationed in Southern California during the late 80's and early 90's. I visited Knott's Berry Farm, a theme park in Buena Park, CA. They had a store there that during this time frame, sold these amazing figurines which I have not been able to locate since. The figurines consisted of Droopy looking cowboys and sexy young women who wore short shorts. One such figurine had the droopy cowboy, one of these ladies, and a jukebox like you would see in a 50's diner. I have even gone to the length of writing to Knott's Berry Farm and asking them if they knew the pieces I was talking about, and/or the artist who made them.
part of their response: "[The pieces...]
came from a company named Fredrick Icart (sp.).
This company is no longer in business.
Does anyone here know where these pieces of art are today? Know anybody
who owns one? The figurines at the time I saw them were pretty expensive,
probably in the $1,000.00 range.
I have had no luck locating any of these figurines on e-bay. Anyone ever see
one of these?
Daffy
