Every wife in OC isn't as stitched up as a Beverly Hills housewife. There's a helluva alot of ugly and fat people living behind the Orange Curtain-They just aren't shown on tv. Editors must blur them out.

Orange County is a society of sociopaths. If someone hits your car, the ordinary thing is for them to flee the scene, whether they are rich or poor. I highly recommend avoiding OC.

Maybe in North County. From experience, and reading the local papers-people have stopped 9/10 times after hitting someone. I don't read/hear of people just driving away-You are thinking of LA my friend.

No, I'm talking HB and NPB. I saw some 20-year-old b*tch ram her 60-year-old boyfriend's car into someone. She said "it's not my fault, it was an accident" and took off. I got her license plate number.

Extreme ignorance and irresponsibility is how I would describe OC, especially Newport Beach. Everyone acts like children, just looking for what they can get out of everyone around them. I've lived all over CA, but have never seen anything like this until I moved here. It's kind of like the trailer-trash mentality, with Corvettes.

hahahaha that is soo true im an OC lifer as they would call them im a 23 year old woman who hate it here in a sense where people here are 2 faced and nothing but cookie cutter material. anahiem hills yorba linda and most of southern orange county are nothing but stuck up whiney people. the county over all is a great place to live in a sense where for the most part its a safe place live. i live in placentia about 10 miles or so from disneyland its an alright town but i can safely say that i wouldnt have a problem walking to the local 7-11. the school system is alright and the college night life is great atleast here in the north orange county area.the only major problem i think you will have is the simple fact that its expensive as all heck your going to pay atleast 1200 for a small decent apartment in these neck of the woods. if your looking into south county ive seen them go for almost 2 grand and thats for just a one bedroom. central orange county like santa ana and garden grove are places not even i would move into. over all north orange county is more so somewhere between the working class and the non working class area in orange county south orange county is more so the rich yuppie central or orange county lastley central orange county is the working class area. the county over all is also predominately conservative republican atleast from my understanding. if your lookin into gettin away from the surfer types id prolly say go for north county not southern

If you want to avoid cookie cutter subdivisions, look in Santa Ana: Floral Park, FrenchPark, Park Santiago, Wilshire Square or one f the other restored historic neighborhoods. Orange: anywhere in the old town area. Fullerton: Downtown. That is about it. Everything else is pretty much modern urban sprawl. Santa Ana is the only city in OC with a downtown. Santa Ana is mostly one of the most impoverished cities in OC, but it can be a fun place to live. It is mostly Latino, but we did not find that to make any difference. People are people.

How funny. I call it the "I'm Trash who Somehow Got Cash" crowd. OC is definitely more new money than old. Old money doesn't drive around in a jacked up Escalade with $20K rims and a backwards ball cap!
