Question Need to talk to a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Orange County.

Hi, I am currently disabled with a severe case of M.E./FMS and living with my mom in Ohio. My mom is a LVN with 20 years experience. My question is, would a LVN be able to afford renting in OC? We want to move out there so I can hopefully get better medical treatment. My mom isnt quite sure what her income will be out there and how hard it will be to find a job. So I would greatly appreciate hearing from an LVN out there!

Thanks.

Right now it is very hard to find a job in CA, even if you have skills/education etc. We have the 3rd highest unemployment rate (6.9%). It might be easier for a LVN but I wouldn't risk it. Also adding in the fact that rents START at 1k+ for bad areas and 1.5k+ for good areas isn't making it any better.

Stay in Ohio is my advice.
