Default Considering a Home Purchase in Anaheim

Hi all,

We've been looking to have our own house in OC for a couple years now.

We saw a few Anaheim listings that are priced reasonablly. However, we do not know the city that well, and think that we might seek for some insights here.

Specifically, these properties are newer townhomes built recently. Here is an address of one of the listed homes: 3161 WEST LINCOLN, Anaheim, CA 92801.

Could any of you please provide us information as to:
-Is it a good/safe neighborhood?
-How is the commute from Anaheim to Irvine?

Any assistants would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

neighborhood isnt terrible.. southwest of BP mall, which is still in the process of becoming relevant again. not the best, not the worst.

that area of anaheim to irvine wont be the best commute(5/22/57 interchange aka orange crush isnt pretty) but it is fairly straightforward. you're going to take the 5 south to your destination or take the 5 south to the 55 south to the 405 south to your destination

Depending on when you leave your commute will probably take you about an hour because of the congestion on the freeways mentioned.
