Default The Big UCLA vs. USC Football Rivalry: Which team do UCI students support? What about Orange County in general?

Since the Anteaters don't have their own football team, and with the hype to surrounds the UCLA vs. USC rivalry, what team do most kids at UCI support? Do they follow another fellow University of California, or do they support USC for some reason that you might explain to me?

Also, which team is generally more supported in Orange County? Is the support as even as one might expect in Los Angeles County, or is there one team whose support is more evident in Orange County?

If USC and UCLA are playing, all my friends who went to UCI support the UC school!

Of course, DH went to USC, so those games are a lot of fun at our house!

I went to a no name school, but suport USC if they are playing!

I see a bunch of USC Alumni stickers and licence plate frames here in South OC, although I graduated from Loyola Marymount and UCI, I'm a fan of UCLA.

I would say the fans in Orange County are split 50/50. At UCI they side with UCLA, since its a campus in the same university system (unless they might be playing UCLA... it's happened before!)
