Obviously Anaheim would suffice if someone from out of area asks though. So this area is actually closer to Yorba Linda too then Anaheim Hills (if Anaheim Hills is really south of 91 only)...So would Yorba Linda be more accurate to say if you live in that area?
Sorry if this is confusing, it's confusing me!!!

Anaheim Hills is south of the 91 freeway. That was the boundary for the annexations (Anaheim Hills annexations 1-12) in 1971. North of the 91 freeway generally is not considered Anaheim Hills, although some places use the Anaheim Hills name. The Anaheim Hills Citizens Coalition serves those south of the 91 freeway, east of the 55.
When Anaheim Hills was being developed, it was the Developments south of the 91 freeway that had to go through the Anaheim Hills Consolidated Group for development approval. Contrary to popular belief, the area between Santa Ana Canyon and SR91 is part of Anaheim Hills, but was not included in the initial plans for the Anaheim Hills area because the area was seen as being too "flood proned." It wasn't until the later phases of planning that this small sliver was included after Classic Homes purchased it and developed it/marketed through the Anaheim Hills Consolidated Group.
You guys to the north are considered Anaheim, but a common term for those of you who live near the park is the "Woodsboro" area. The area around Esperanza High is definately not considered Anaheim Hills....not even the most inclusive boundaries include that area. The area around Riverdale Elementary is also not a part of Anaheim Hills....the latter two areas were developed almost 10 years before Anaheim Hills was even conceived.
The city of Anaheim is working on updating its General Plan and giving Anaheim Hills its own seperate policy area (as they have stated at their meetings) which they would define as south of the SR91 as it was originally developed.
Hope this helps, from someone who is very active in the community.
