Default Jewish kids in Orange County public schools?

Or will my kids be the only ones? Irvine looks like it has a fairly substantial Jewish community. Is this true? Also, any other Orange County or LA neighborhoods with large Jewish communities? Not too religious as we're Reform.

my understanding is that irvine has many persian jews. i also met some russian jews from irvine last weekend on a cruise. anyways, i went to school in yorba linda and there were a handful of jews there. if you're looking for large jewish communities in souther california, then you're better off looking to LA. LA proper has a very large jewish population, but there are also many in the surrounding communities of thousand oaks area and the santa clarita valley.

Irvine has a thriving Jewish community. Probably the largest in the OC. There are a several temples & synagoues in the city and a large jewish school funded by the Samuelli family of Broadcom & Mighty Ducks fame. Heck even the local grocery stores due big "Kosher for Passover" displays during passover becuase their are enough jews in the area to support it.

West LA also has a large jewish population as well, but not sure about which neighborhoods.

We have very good friends of ours in Costa Mesa that are Jewish, they have many Jewish friends, but pretty much just mix in with everyone.

Goodness forbid your family ever have to endure the unique burden of having to mix with those who are different from you.

I grew up in HB and Irvine, Woodbridge high was 60% morman, 30% Jewish and the rest were a mix. There are a ton of Persian and South African Jews.. your kids will be fine.. try this one.. I now live in Louisville, KY and we have enough jews here to support 5 shuls and a day school.. and our mayor is Jewish, and our Congressman goes to my shul...
