Default Costa Mesa photo tour (and a few extras)

Went down to OC today for another great day of exploration. Did a lot of walking. And I brought my camera. Which means I present to you an 8.6 megabyte, 78 photo tour of my impressions today. I mainly spent time in Costa Mesa-- up and down Bristol, Newport, 19th, and 17th. Also checked out "Bella Terra" at Huntington Beach and Balboa and Fashion Island at Newport Beach. I'm not a mall person, but I liked Fashion Island. Bella Terra didn't impress me much though. I am really starting to like Costa Mesa-- it's exactly my kind of place. I'd describe it as an old yet up-to-date "urban suburb." It's kind of like LA-lite, not too much action, but not too boring either. Kind of reminds me a lot of Scottsdale, AZ. I saw a lot of young people my age there today, including a lot of hot girls. Especially at "The Lab Anti-Mall." If for some reason I had to stay in SoCal after I graduate Costa Mesa is high on the list of where I'd want to be. Wish they could move USC down there!

Nice pictures. Your walking tour of Bristol is within maybe 1/4 mile of my apartment. You should have eaten at Wahoo's!

IloveOC is on a distinguished road
Great pctures - thanks for taking the time to do it. I'm sure I speak for others beside myself that enjoy seeing them. If I ever get the chance to get out there again, I know that my days will be spent with my camera in hand. And once we have snow on the ground, those pictures of your great climate will look even better.

great pics!!! i totally recognized that peruvian place you snapped a pic of, my wife used to work down the street from there.

from your previous posts i've gathered that we don't have much in common, but i do agree with you that costa mesa and nearby areas are a great part of OC, probably tied for my favorite with fullerton.

Thanks for the nice comments everybody. So Super Pollo is good, you say? I'll have to try it some time. Their logo is hysterical.

Does anybody know of any other parts/cities of OC that are similar to Costa Mesa as I have pictured it here?
