Unhappy Fires Out of Control in Orange County

The Corona fire is just among several really bad fires this afternoon. Brea & now Anaheim have been evacuated due to out-of-control fires in the Santa Ana mountains. It looks horrible on TV! Good luck everybody in Orange & Los Angeles counties

My brother lives off the weir canyon exit in Yorba Linda. They are evacuating his street at this very moment. The fires are out of control..

The 57 is closed and the 91 is open as of now.

I've been watching TV coverage of the fires & the Santa Ana canyon area has been hit hard by the strong wind & out-of-control fires.

We left our place this afternoon for San Diego, I just hope it doesn't spread more than it has already. We live in Santiago Canyon and went through a heck of a lot last year that if it comes near our place, we are seriously moving out of the Mountains and near concrete, lot's of concrete.

We are staying at the Westin in downtown San Diego and a high rise feels real good right now.

Be safe everyone and don't hesitate to get the heck out of inner OC.

Is there anywhere right now in LA or OC where the ash isn't falling from the sky?

I'm in Costa Mesa and there's nothing falling here. It looks to be blowing westward to the north/northwest of me from the Yorba Linda fire.

My ex-husband called me a while ago to tell me he had been evacuated, he's in Anaheim Hills, near Savi Ranch. He sent me a pic of flames licking up right over his house...scary stuff.

It's getting pretty bad here in the San Fernando Valley.
