what are the best place to buy cupcakes?
Hi everyone, my boyfriend's birthday is coming up, and he loves cupcakes. I am lơok for a gơod place to buy cupcakes? I'm thinking of buy blue cupcakes. I heard there is a cupcakes store in Costa Mesa that sells gơod cupcakes, but I don't know the name of that bakery. If you don't know, can you recommend other places? I live in North OC, so please help me find gơod bakeries that are in Huntington beach, garden grove, fountain valley, etc. I'm lơoking for a gơod bakery that sells blue cupcakes. Thanks!
p.s. if you recommend a bakery, tell me what is your favorite cupcakes there  |

Sprinkles' cupcakes are delicious, but be prepared to pay about $3 per cupcake.

Sprinkles in Newport Beach is delicious. My favorite is the red velvet one. I think its over by Fashion Island. There are other cupcake places around but that is the only one I know of by name.

I used to live in HB and Lucci's has good cakes.  I used to buy tons of B-day cake there. They used to have cupcakes-I'm sure they still do. Here's their address and phone number. Hope you find something yummy where ever you.

I highly recommend Laguna Cakes. They do cupcakes in any of the flavors of their wedding cakes, and they are awesome, as high quality as Sprinkles (maybe even higher), and less expensive! Oh, and if you're in OC, they deliver to you.
They did my wedding cake, and I love the white cake with chocolate hazelnut frosting, the cupcakes taste just like my wedding cake did!

Try Wonderland Bakery
I suggest you try Wonderland Bakery in Newport Beach. It is amazing! Too many choices to choose just one as a favorite.

screw the faux-gourmet places like Sprinkles, et al which cost like $3.25 a freakin' cake (+ no quantity discount). total rip off
just go to French's Bakery.. they have awesome cupcakes which are just as delicious, unique, and are actually priced correctly. one in Costa Mesa, Orange... and at least 1 more I am forgetting.
edit: I looked it up. the other two are Irvine and Mission Viejo
