is it possible to rent a 3 BR house or apt in laguna beach for $2000 a month?
I want to live in a liberal, coastal city with a solid nightlife and in that price range.
the area near cal state long beach looks appealing, but im looking for a backup plan. We visited newport beach, which was OK but I think I would get sick of that area quick.
we all are recent college grads who like to try new stuff, meet new people, party hard, and definitely aren't turned off by too much noise.
Check out Huntington Beach as well. 2000 is too little for Laguna
For reference, I'm looking for a 3bd right now in Seal Beach and Los Alamitos/Rossmoor. Houses are in the 2400-3000 price range for a 3bd. Apts are 1700-2000 for a 3bd. Condos are inbetween. Los Alamitos is 5-10min from the beach and about a 20min bikeride
Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel (Kite Hill), Mission Viejo, possibly Dana Point (w/oceanview), San Clemente, San Juan Cap, Vista (definitely), LaJolla (maaaaybeeee) - that's all I can think of for $2000-$2200/mo. 3 BR - and you want a nightlife? Well ... that's another bird.

nice.. can u point me to any links for those apartments ??
most of the apartments in this area are privately owned or at best managed by a property management co. hard to provide links for many of them. best thing is to drive the neighborhoods.
