Default Cell phone coverage in Anaheim Hills?

Hey everyone. Next week I move to Anaheim Hills.

I want to use only my AT&T cell phone as my main phone to spare myself spending money on a land line. Does anyone know how the reception is in the area? Do you think I can get away with it, or do I need to set up a home phone number with my local phone company?

Wireless coverage varies with specific location. In my experience, Verizon has the best coverage, especially indoors. AT&T's coverage isn't as good and tends to fall off quickly when you go inside. You may have great coverage in your home with any of the carriers, or one or more may have terrible coverage in your home, or in one part of your home. The only way to know is to walk around your home with your phone and see if you get enough signal. I have Verizon in Costa Mesa and don't have a home phone. Its getting pretty common these days to drop the land line.

Thank you so much for the information, EscapeCalifornia. I used to have Verizon, and I miss it. AT&T coverage just doesn't seem as good overall.

Based on what you wrote, I will hold off on setting up a home phone and walk around the house with my cell when I get there. I am keeping my fingers crossed for good results but won't get my hopes up.
