Hey all,
I was wondering if any of you guys know where the cast members of Laguna beach live, like drove by their houses and such? That seems like a beautiful place to live. Those kids are really lucky.
Also, I was wondering what the local oc public thinks of the show? do they hate the exposure?

andyzemco:

you committed your first deadly sin in the forum!

we in the "OC" could care less about where they live, and we dislike the exposure since the most of us are regular suburbanites and drive our regular cars.

I live six miles from Laguna Beach....I've never seen the show, but if it is as bad as The OC was and OC Housewives is, then it glorifies that which not many OC residents have ever experienced.

Never heard of it. Is this one of those idiotic shows that MTV runs? If so, I'm well out of the demo for that audience.

I really shouldn't know this, but I think he's referring to the MTV show "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" which was a psuedo-documentary about uppity spoiled rich kids at Laguna Beach High (go Artists! )

"The OC" was a show on Fox that was never filmed in its namesake (because Malibu and Newport Beach are so much alike in mind and spirit...) and managed to p*ss off the entire county for its inaccurate portrayal of the county and irritatingly-contrived regional nickname.

When I was San Clemente HS Triton, the Artists were always a sure win for our football and baseball teams.

I was working for the HS sports department at the Register when they finally changed their name to the Breakers. We were all disappointed that we could no longer make fun of them for that.
