Best neighborhood near Rosemead (Alhambra, Arcadia: house, good schools, price)

Hello Everyone,

Just got a job in Rosemead and looking for a house in a good "family" neighborhood. What's the best area near Rosemead with excellent schools?

Would like to limit the commute to no more than 30-40 mins. (This probably rules out anything East of Rosemead)

Price range is ~$500-600K

I would suggest Arcadia, but I don't think you can get a decent home there in your price range. You may want to think about Temple City. The schools are good and it would be closer to your price range. Other than that I can't think of too many areas that will be a good commute, have really good schools and are in the budget you have set up. Some might say, Alhambra, again the schools are not as good as Temple City I don't believe.
