Default Enough said about orange county!!!

I have given my opinion on Orange County after seeing various beautiful pics of the ocean areas. You can view my post on "The truth about southern california" which by the way is just one person's opinion of her experience. I am hoping that those of you who are considering a move into the area would listen to all the OC threads and make a decision wisely and cautiously. To those of you who can afford a near million dollar home you will be just fine. For those of you who make $10.00 and hour you probably will be somewhere "not too nice". Look at statistics and listen to those who have lived there. Some like it and some don't.

With that said I will leave all of you to your own devices. May you truly be happy where ever you go and where ever you are. You can have a good attitude amidst negativity but it is a challenge even for the most positive person. But it is a possibility and something to strive for.

Enjoy the beauty of the particular city where ever that may be cause there is always something good, even if you have to drive a couple of hours to get there. Make the most of where you are at.

Hopefully I haven't made it too tough to live in OC for those of you who are in the same situation that I was in several years ago. There were many places that I never was able to visit. Catalina, Six flags magic mountain up North, and the Queen Mary. I wish now I would have taken advantage of the location because there is lots to do in OC.

Take care and may your life be full of sunshine where ever you go. It can take just one person to change an entire country.

Hi Raelyn,

The point of this forum is to give help and opinions, which is exactly what you did! People need to be aware of some of the downsides of OC and SoCal living. It IS expensive here. Painting an unrealistic picture to people who don't know what it's like to live here is not right. Just like I would give honest advice to anyone considering moving to my hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. Some may get offended, but this forum is not just puppies and rainbows!
I appreciate the honesty you put forth! Have a wonderful day!

I think attitudes of people attribute to any culture and it should be given equal weight in a relocation decision!

Default It was a needed thread!!

Since I received so much criticism on my other thread I felt I needed to post another oned as sort of a closing statement to it.. Like a final discussion.

What is a forum anyway? It is a discussion amongst people regarding their opinions, feelings, experiences, etc. Am I not allowed to post another thread or something? And good question, why did you read it if it wasn't important to you? Could I ask what you expected from it?
