Default Mesa Garage Doors -Don't make the mistake

Back in January of this year I had a garage door installed by Mesa Garage Doors. After about two weeks I noticed the installers had not finished the job. They missed several fasteners and neglected to tighten some others.
I got service out a few days later to fix it.

Almost six months later I received a phone call from someone in their accounting department claiming I had not paid for the door. She told me they required some form of proof, like a bank statement showing the account had been paid.
I went to my bank and got a copy of the cancelled check, front and back, showing "Mesa Garage Doors" on the front and the date they deposited in their bank and the date it posted.
I emailed the cancelled check to them in two different file formats.
I was told; "OK we will try to resolve this issue as soon as possible."

Two weeks later I got another call from the same person telling me I had to provide proof I had paid for the door. I told her; "Look, I sent the cancelled check two weeks ago!" She said, "oh, ok we will take care of it."

After several emails and phone calls I managed to get a receipt stating the account had been paid. The whole time they had an attitude like it was somehow my fault and they were most unfriendly. It took four different people at Mesa Garage doors to get this cleared up.

Now I have another problem with the door. Two actually.
I called the service department and asked a question regarding one of the issues. The representitive said; "we can't discuss service issues over the phone, we will have to send someone out to look at it." She scheduled an appointment for between 12:00 and 2:00.
Nobody showed up. At ten minutes after 2:00 I called again. I got a recorded message; "You have reached us outside of our normal business hours, please call back another time."

Besides these issues. The door really wasn't worth the money. All of the parts are really cheap. There are too many moving parts. It's Crap!
If I could aford it I would have it removed and replaced by another company.

If you need a garage door, I urge you to call anyone except Mesa Garage Doors.

Thanks for the tip. We will be replacing our garage door pretty soon and I was just telling my husband we should call Mesa since their prices seem to be very good. I appreciate you letting others know about your experience.

I use to hear about these people on KFI all the time. A company like this is most likely using the volume approach therefore they will skip out on quality and customer service.

I know a source who is willing to help with any garage door company question. He's not local to you, but friendly and returns e-mails well.
