Default Fountain Valley

Would anyone give me some information about Fountain Valley? It seems to be a nice place to live. I have 2 little kids (3 and 6) and need a good school (but not a expensive neighborhood). I was from AZ but now rent an apartment in San Fernando Valley (LA county) while looking for a house (around 550-600k).

Thanks

Most of FV is good. Avoid anything north of Edinger or east of Euclid though. Make sure you're zoned for Fountain Valley School District. Let me know if you have any more specific questions. I grew up in FV and my parents still live there.

Funny, "A Nice Place to Live" is Fountain valley's motto. You can pick up a house in that range in the area of warner to talbert and newland to bushard. You're looking at a 40 year old house, but FV has good schools, even if they look kind of old. Very suburban, pretty big Japanese population for some reason, so that translates to some good places to eat(I love japanese food).

Japanese farmed the land in Fountain Valley long before it was a city. In fact, two of the five founding city council members (including the mayor) were Japanese.

Interesting...I know a lot of the elementary schools have Japanese names too.
