San Clemente Opinions (Mariposa: buying a house, neighborhoods, buying)

Familiar with W Mariposa? or Ave Palizada? Seem very walkable and beach close. How are these neighborhoods? Thanks

Also, how is the Beachfire Grill?

My wife and I just ate at the Beachfire Grill for the first time 2 weeks ago. It was excellent! My wife had a marinated steak with rice and beans and I had a plate lunch (steak and shrimp kabob) with white sticky rice. The smores desert was also incredible. Service was good as well. My wife and I are considering buying a house down in that area and I also have questions about good streets vs bad ones. Seems to be somewhat mixed in that downtown area. Try the Beachfire..
