The 949 isn't filled with actors and actresses who are often out of work even in good times. The entertainment industry is extremely important in Santa Monica's economy, and at best extremely marginal in OC.

Back to the original topic of the thread: the US car/motorcyle culture began for all practical purposes in Southern California and Orange County was a major center of the car culture from the 1950s on. Aftermarket mods, rims, etc. are a part of OC's traditional car culture. And there are PLENTY of aftermarket mods and rims in LA County's Palisades and Santa Monica which "hsw" has assuredly never been to. I question whether "hsw" has ever been ANYWHERE in California.
