I got this link (REPORT Stupid in America):

YouTube - Stupid in America

in one of the answers to my questions in CD forum.

Now i am more worried about the schools and the area we are going to live then before.
As european i have no other start point in my search for schoolls and the area to live then API score. But i was also told this scores does not really reflect the reality.Best thing to do in addition find the opinion from parents and students.

I would like to hear opinions about Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills or the areas close by.

If parents are reading this, please write me your opinion about the schools.

I have 2 months to decide and find the right place and school.

Thanks a lot

School ratings are only part of it. A high API indicates they are at least dedicated to teaching the subject the government puts on the tests and are indicative of a good overall education seemingly, but the reality is that a students performance in school largely depends on the adults in his life. His parents and his teachers make all the difference. If you want your child to succeed, be involved in his academic life. The teachers you have less control over, since there are good teachers in bad schools and bad teachers in good schools. Generally, the better the API score, the better the quality of teacher, but nothing is 100% in life.

When your child gets taught that they came from a monkey and that life was based on an accident, do you really think a secular school with liberal, agnostic/athiest teachers is going to help your child? School's have become political and based upon protecting jobs. The question to you is what are your values? Secular , public schools will teach agnostic/athiest views.

Gotta watch out for the "liberal, agnostic/athiest teachers" teaching evolution in elementary school.

Both districts are good. How well kids do is based on parenting, family life and other things as much as the teachers. I am not crazy over the way many school districts function in todays world. Yes, the teachers are often very liberal and try to educate kids to their way of thinking, but I don't think you see that as much in elementary school.

Granted liberalism as it exists currently in America is sometimes called moderate or conservative in some European countries.

That is true, depending on the country. I don't think many would call liberalism conservative though. Moderate would fit better.

Absolutely. I wouldn't want some religious kooks brainwashing them with their cult garbage.
