Default facility moving from Marina Del Rey to Costa Mesa

In March the bioscience company I work for is actually moving to a bigger facility in
Costa Mesa, but I live in the San Fernando Valley at moment. I’m planning to move
Closer to the O.C. but I’m trying to save up for the move. I researched and I noticed
The I-5 has the shortest time by 20 min. I’ve been commuting from the 405-S to get
To the current facility that’s in Marina Del Rey. I asked to for my schedule to be changed
Once the move happens. So if I leave my home from the San Fernando Valley at 5:30am am I going to run in to heap of traffic? Mind you I have to arrive to work by 7:00 am.

I used to commute from Thousand Oaks to Huntington Beach. I left at 5AM and there was no traffic; I did the 72 miles in 65 minutes (or exactly one bladder distance away...).

Check out Sigalert.com Los Angeles Traffic Map during the time you expect to commute. See if there any routes that are better than others - even if they are less direct.

You can get a feel for tomorrow's traffic right now by using google maps, traffic, traffic at time and day. Set it for 6AM during any day of the week (fridays are usually a little lighter).

Finally, I think your afternoon commute will be worse than your morning commute.
