i never got into pepe's although some of my friends swore by it.
another good little mexican food place with cheap eats is mexicasa in anaheim on lincoln just west of euclid. seriously, a family of 4 can eat at this place for under $20. i may have already mentioned this place previously in this thread, but i don't remember so i thought i'd give it a shoutout.

I looked it up, is that in Fullerton? never been to that one.
the one I like to visit that sounds like what you're describing is called Yogurt Passion and is in Westminster off Brookhurst. costs about $3-4 a portion (more if you really pile it on), but mmm delicious!!
I'll go back to any place like that as long as it's not that terrible SOUR yogurt (think Pinkberry), but normal frozen yogurt.
one time a while back when they first opened, I drove 10 miles out of the way round trip to try that Pinkberry crap just because nobody could shut up about it. I wanted to throw it face down on the sidewalk... plus, expensive. I have been to two others in OC that I thought were normal yogurt places, only to find out it's that sour crap. once, not til I'd actually ordered and paid for it and tried to eat it. they advertised it as "italian frozen yogurt" (run by asians, naturally?). I'm half italian, and that was italian "my ass"! gross!!!!!!

Rubios or Taco Mesa (I go to the Orange location nowadays) if I'm craving cheap, fresh, non greasy & delicious mexican food.
I actually got tired of Rubios for a good while, but they always come up with some crazy delicious items that make me come back.

Wahoo's is good and very reasonably priced -- they're all over Orange County now. The one in Laguna Beach used to be very funky up until it was remodeled a couple of years ago. still pretty cool though.

Portillo's Hot Dogs and much more Buena Park
I'm now from Chicago ( grew up in OC ) and the lines here in Chicago for this place (20 plus locations ) are out the door, There is a location on Lincoln and Dale in Buena Park, you should try it. Love their burgers, hot dogs, chocolate cake, salads and ribs/ I am salavating now just thinking about the food, I kid you not! Worth a shot and reasonable.

That side of the freeway on Lake Forest is definitely Laguna Woods.
