I'm searching for OC moms to chat with. Our family is moving to OC this summer. In other cities, I've been able to chat with moms via various mom forums like, "momslikeme" and others. OC moms don't appear to be active on any of the sites I find. OC Family, OC Moms, and Momslikeme, don't seem to have any participation from moms in O.C. Is there another forum that everyone is using or do OC moms just socialize other ways?

I just moved back to OC after three years in WA state. How old are you kids? Mine are 1 1/2 and 2 1/2.

Meet other moms at their kids activities, preschool, even pediatrician offices.
At the park
Neighbors
Existing neighborhood moms groups
Some preschools have MMO, mother's mornings out
YMCA (which is great because they have either free or really cheap child care for when you work out)
Swimming lessons
church/temple/mosque

Depending on the age of your kids - look into the local chapter of momsclub.org. It isn't online - more of playgroups when you get there - but you might be able to get in touch now to ask questions, etc.

Get a local paper of the city you are moving to and see what local groups are there.

Good luck!

Have you tried MeetUp.com? May have some luck there.

Also, try www.oc.citymommy.com- you can even narrow it down by neighborhood! Im not part of it, but I have it bookmarked for future reference.
