Well, I just bought a house in Bandon, and believe me, I'm just retiring and will be living on a fixed income, and I'm not rich. They have lots of really cute little bungalows and it's a buyer's market there now. If you can afford $160,000 to $170,000 you can find a decent place. I bought a small cottage that needs some fixing on the outside, but has opened beamed ceilings, a loft and hardwood floors and lots of character for $125,000. Coos Bay/North Bend is only 25 minutes away, so you could work there and live in beautiful Bandon. And Coos Bay has a big Casino for entertainment and meeting guys. There might be a job for you at the Mill Casino too, or like someone suggested, the Bandon Dunes Golf course, which is filled with lots of guys, and a lot of rich ones, lol.

Congratulations!! We love Bandon. What a cool area to retire in! You're very fortunate. Sounds like a sweet house, too!
And there is money there, too. A surprising number of people there rolling in it, they just don't announce themselves. Most of them moved up from California, of course!

Now this is funny. Lots of rich guys alright. Passing through to play golf, and if you did snag one it would be a one night stand and they are off back to their homes and wives elsewhere. Gold-digger bait at best. And guy hunting at the casino? I can’t stop laughing.
Otherwise Bandon is nice.
