What I like is the fact that I will be there for good in 21 days.
I gave notice at work and my boss is VERY happy for me, or maybe happy that I'm out of his hair.
Everyone I know is calling it my quest, as I have never been to Coos Bay. Been all around it but never in the city itself. My last few weeks in Iowa will be good also. The Iowa Arts Fest is coming up, The Sam Bush Band is the headliners! My oldest daughter and I have been going to this for 7 years now, and I see it as a great going away party!
Can't wait to get on the road.

Weather, spring to early summer to fall, early winter then back to spring
Cost of living.
gas .10 higher
rent about the same
jobs about the same $ as it is only me. And I don't need for much.
The coast, sand or rocks.
FISHING! With real fish to catch.
Oregon has everything with in a short drive.
And lastly the new friends I am going to meet, I know nobody there
One of the first things I'm going to do is walk into a bar and say that I have a case of beer and a crapping lis. But I have never done it before.
You think I'll get anyone to teach me? LOL
