Default Medford Apartments

I moved out of the area (only because of my educational interests) and I can tell you my opinion of where to live and such. 1) Central point area is lower in cost and a bit dingier than Medford 2) Ashland is expensive and quite cleaner. So the middle route, I guess is Medford itself. The better prices of apartments that lead you near the mall (only a mile away) and most convenient shops will be around Tablerock Road. It's a street that you hit before Central Point. It's debatable if it is dingier, but I remember some decent apartments on "Mulberry Lane" there near the fire station. The traffic in Medford is the worst for Oregon- trust me. I've been in many Oregon cities and it compares to L.A. at times (I think it was even rated worst for the Pacific Northwest). They have traffic congestion that can take you a half hour just to go a mile at wrong times of the day so your best bet is to learn the back roads while you can. The good news is that EVERYthing is located near each other so you'll find your favorite restaraunt or shop only a couple miles away at the most. Here in Eugene/Springfield OR, we have less of variety of shops than Medford does too (sure we have 90 Starbucks, but can you find a decent hobby store here? nope.)- not to mention that the spending power of Medford is 1.5 times higher than the area I am in now. Don't be fooled by a lower population than other areas. There's money in them there hills. What I mean is the average buyer spends more.

Since the information I gave you a couple days ago, I found out that the apartments in Mulberry are now very, very low income- so that's probably not a good idea. Central Point has been building very nice apartments near I-5.
