Which coastal city do you think has the most temperate weather and has the most sunshine? Which city has the most to do? Which is the most beautiful?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sunshine - None of the above

Most to do - Lincoln City or Seaside

Temperate - Brookings
Sunshine - try Salt Lake City
Most to do - not a city function, but the Maritime Museum in Astoria and the Marine Science Center/Aquarium in Newport are interesting. Tillamook/Seaside/Cannon Beach/Astoria are within driving distance of Oswald West State Park.
Beautiful - not a city function. I think Yachats is cute. Astoria is historic. For beauty, Oswald West beats every town on the coast.

Temperate and sunshine - Brookings
Most to do -- depends on what you like to do
Most beautiful - the entire Oregon coast

The total difference in average annual temperature and days of sunshine from north in Astoria to south in Brookings is about 2 degrees F., and 5 days of sunshine, total. All the coastal cities are chilly, windy, rainy and cloudy. Any distinctions between them are extremely fine gradations of the same climate.

I beg to differ with your opinion. All anyone has to do is check weather sites and find out for themselves that the weather on the entire coast is not the same! Do you post that it's so terrible to keep people away? if anyone is a member of facebook, check out the Brooking Harbor Oregon page for beautiful pictures of the sunshine and beaches, the latest which was posted today.

The weather isn't the same along the entire coast, but sunshine is not in big supply on any part of it. Just a fact when you look at a map showing % of possible sunshine, compared to almost anywhere. But when the sun is out, take those pictures, because it's beautiful.

Another case of someone who does not live there telling us what it is like. I go several times a month and there is a major change between Coos Bay and Brookings. I have only rarely seen rain there.
