Default Baker City

If you like the small town life Baker City would be great. $1100 would get you a nice house here. Very low crime. It would be hard to find a City with lower crime. Elkhorn mountains to the west, 9000 elevation and snow capped most on the year. Boise (a very nice city) 2 hours away on Interstate 84. Ski resort, fishing, hiking, boating, gold panning, hunting and more. Sage brush, mountains and forests. No traffic problems.
unspoiled. Snow in winter warm sunny summers.

I'm actually very interested in Baker City and La Grande.
Both seem like beautiful towns, it's just finding homes in them.
All I'm really going through is CL for finding houses. I've looked at Zillow, Trulia, and Hotpads, but alot of the homes I find were posted months ago.
So I'm having troubles finding homes in Oregon period that are in some of the smaller towns we're interested in.

Cool thanks for those.
What did you put into google/bing/whatever to find those?
I try looking for Property managment companies, but have a hard time finding those, or
Real estate sites that have rentals.
Thanks again.

That's cool, but we're not looking to buy when we move, we plan on renting.

Some of the realtors have rentals. Here are a couple:
Rentals

Also the newspaper classifieds:
Marketplace | NorthEastOregonClassifieds.com - Autos, Classifieds, Merchandise for Baker, Union, and Wallowa Counties in Oregon

Then there is always craigslist:

brand new 3 bed, two bath (http://eastoregon.craigslist.org/apa/2271155798.html - broken link)

Cool, Thank you much for those.
Yeah Craigslist is really the only place I've been checking.
If I do find property management companies or real estate sites with rentals for towns I'm interested in I try and bookmark them.
So thanks again for those.
