Hi, I'm actually thinking about moving to OR from Austin, TX. I like Austin enough (have been here a little over a year), but I miss the seasons, mountains, snowboarding, etc. What part are you in? I was looking at Bend, but I've read some negative stuff about how it's mostly Californians, etc, which is has been happening here in Austin. Any input?

Talking Moving from GA to Oregon

Hi!

I'm relocating in Oregon in 3 weeks (I'm expecting to be around 9/1 ). I am looking for a temporary place to live until I find the place where I want to live. I found that the leasing conditions in many apartment complex are very rough ($300-$400 non-refundable deposit, $40 application fee per person). I am looking for a 1Br apartment in the area of Vancouver, WA and my range is from $500-$625. Do you have any recommendation? I can move somewhere else since this is going to be a provisional accommodation.

Thank you soooooooooo much!

As a native Oregonian, I can tell you that the whole state is mostly Californians.

Re: Your claim that Oregon is mostly californians
Can you back that claim up with data/statistics?
Thanks!
