Default fine dining in Southern Oregon

Hi, we are looking to move to Southetn Oregon. I work in the food service industry most recently in fine dining restaurants. We were looking at Ashland which seems to have a few restaurants. However housing seems expensive. Is Talet and Phoenix mor affordable. What about the restaurant scene in Corvallis or Eugene?
Thanks

Im a dude who loves food. I actually left for portland because food IS my enterttainment. In Lincoln City, there is a fancy hotel called Spanish Head, it seems to be the nicest restaurant I have been to South of Portland. Wish I could be more helpfull. Roseburg oregon has a Hotel called Sand Piper Inn. I took my prom date there about 22 years ago. ITs still there. Ashland is a cool Yuppy town, don't know what you find for fine dinning, lots of out door cafes. I think most folks in Souther Oregon would prefer Abbys Pizza (me too) than fine dining.

You haven't been to Grants Pass lately, have you? That town has dozens of great restaurants. GP has a great food scene going, with reasonable prices and a wide selection of cuisines.

For old standards, there is Tolly's in Oakland and The Camas Room at Seven Feathers.

Yes, Phoenix and Talent housing is significantly less.

Even Medford is just a matter of minutes from Ashland.

So you have several location choices.
