Just in case anyone reading this thread thinks Oregonians are like jm21.

Please don't think that, Oregonians don't think anything like jm21. He is a minority in his opinions.

You're going to find negative people like jm21 no matter where you go. One of these days that's going to come back and bite him in the *ss. In no way does this one person give me the impression that all Oregonians are this way because behaving in that way gets you nowhere fast.

A meth epidemic is going on out in the countryside as well, but as meth epidemics go in waves, this one should be subsiding within the next 5-10 years I would think.
Well, I'm from SoCal myself. I've lived in Oregon for a few years and honestly, yes I see taggings, but they're wannabe's, fakes, poser's, whatever you want to call them. I'm sure Portland has gangs, but I doubt it's anything to worry about.

I'm not sure what Measure 11 is, but in California, they have gang injunctions preventing gang members from hanging out together in specific areas and are also documented.

What you guys call a "meth epidemic" now, SoCal had worse 15 years ago.
