Smile Anyone from the Vale-Ontario area

Hi,
I left Vale in 1998 to move to Louisville, Kentucky. I was wondering if anyone from that area could please tell me how the towns and surounding area has changed since then what's it like now. What has been built and what has been tore down.
Thank you.

Not to sure about the Vale area however Ontario, Fruitland, a little of Payette and New Plymouth have grown. I do believe Vale has a few more murals painted throughout town and a few more houseing area's built. The old mall on 4th St in Ontario is all but abandend. The business is growing accross the overpass where Kmart is. The new additions just in that area are; The Reel Theatre, Staples, Home Depot, Walmart Superstore, and a ton of little shops and fast food joints. Construction out the wazzu, of course, it's Oregon. Anyway, hope this helps.

Tazzman6977,
Thank you for the info on Ontario. WOW! I can't belive a new Staples, Home Depot and a Walmart Superstore sounds like Ontario has really expanded. I wish Vale would.
Thanks again,
DML

They locate in Ontario to attract shoppers from Idaho who don't want to pay sales tax.
