that was WILD!!! I was hoping youre house wasnt one of them I saw on the news w/the roof ripped off!! OMG! How very very scary for you! So thankful to hear your okay!
On the odd side of it, it was a pretty ordinary weather day few hours down the coast from ya'll. How come everyone else gets the exciting weather??? There, THATS my downside for living in Coos Bay Oregon. Totally boring weather. EVeryone else gets tornados and big ole impressive storms....My claim to fame in the "HORRIFIC WEATHER" stories, is my empty garbage can fell over and rolled into the hedge during the worst storm ive seen here in almost 8yrs. sigh....

That house was my neighbor! The blue house which had its deck torn off, and was all over the news, is across the street from me too! We only lost windows, thankfully. Trade you for your rolling garbage can. So, being hit with a tornado (and I still can't believe I am saying it!!!!) has been the only downside to living here...

Downsides to living in Oregon: if you're in the valley - Rain, gray/cloudy skies get pretty depressing. NO JOBS ANYWHERE. And stuck up people in the valley in the wealthier areas/large cities. There are plenty of great people in Oregon though! Summers are wonderful. Hmmm...No scary bugs and typically no tornadoes, but we do have rattle snakes and scorpions in the eastern half of the state.
